I am sure you have heard the phrase, “A picture is worth 1000 words“. There should be no doubt that the statement is true in blogging.
Graphics for blogs can take an average blog post and give it that little something extra.
First graphic most people know about is an introductory photo. Most people have these but simply grabbed images off of stock photo sites or Google images. You can do a lot more than that. When you have these images is also essential that you link them to your blog for extra traffic and link juice.
the next important part of blog graphics is explanatory graphics. It is important to have screen-shots cut out for anything that you have to explain. A visual representation is far better than a dozen words describing where to find specific button.
Finally there’s the footer. Many people want put a sales message at the footer and do so with a long text message that is copied from post to post. It is far better to try your hand at making the graphic that looks almost like it is part of the text. The link will get to the same place, but it will not count as duplicate content in the eyes of Google, and you can put an original all tags for each footer photo.
It does not take graphics expert to make these adjustments either. With just a little work you to to get a lot better at making your own graphics to your blog posts, and ultimately use this to make more sales, capture more leads, highlight your affiliate marketing or get more people to sign up for your e-mail lists. Whatever your heart desires good graphics can be the way to go towards achieving a higher degree of success in blogging.
Really, a picture is worth 1000 words!
