 Excelent Adapter Feb 20, 2010
Comes with driver, instructions, and software to connect. My old adapter couldn't pick up the signal but once i installed this one, i was online in no time

Bought this for a neighbor to help get signal for their home pc because I use to have one as well for my desktop. Product works well for what it is.
 Does not work with Windows 7 Feb 11, 2010
I've purchased netgear items for years. When I upgraded to Windows 7 I checked to make sure all of my hardware was supported. According to netgear this item is Windows 7 compatible. However in reality it is not. There is a windows 7 driver from their site however instead of working with Win 7, it has nothing but conflict with the OS. The netgear installs its own software to sit on top of the OS while the OS is trying obtain control of the device. The interface is clunky. Stay away from this product if you are using Win 7.

Installation was easy but the connection isn't the best. It drops out and the signal is weak. I'm in a small apt., one floor. I doubt this would work in a house if I have problems in an apt. We need to reconnect quite often.

It didn't come with the installation CD, it said I had to download it from the website, which is a bit difficult when the product is so you can have internet...other than that it works great. I like the holder/extender for it so the large adapter doesn't take up a ton of room by my USB ports.
