Never received the product and the seller would not respond to any emails inquiring about it. My reimbursement claim filed with Amazon is currently pending.

The Wireless-G (Linksys WGA54G) game adapter was easy to setup and worked perfectly. I wanted a wireless connection for my new Samsung Blu-Ray dvd player so I could download from Netflix. The ether net cable strung across the living room and up the stairs was just not suitable to my wife. The prospect of properly wiring the Blu-Ray in this old farm house was daunting. A call to Linksys led me to the WGA54G. This product worked perfectly! I've watched my first Netflix Instant movie using the device and notice no difference when compare with hard-wired cable.

No support for WPA2 Dec 24, 2008
I ordered this product to connect my XBOX 360 to my wireless network. I returned it the next day because this product does not support WPA2 (wireless security protocol). If you have a wireless network, you should use WPA2 because it is the most secure and every other protocol is way to easy to crack.
I returned this product and bought the Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N Gaming Adapter instead. It was only a few $ more but it supports WPA2 and works flawlessly.
 Great for DVR's Too Dec 21, 2008
I have a DVR from DirecTV and this is great for getting the Internet Connection needed for Video On Demand and also for assisting in sharing Media (movies and Music) to stream throughout the house.
I have a baby and this helps reduce the need for a cable to be run across the room to get an internet connection to the DVR. Which can be dangerous.
The only downside to using this has nothing to do with the unit but the wireless network in my house which seems to drop on the DVR from time to time.
I definitely recommend this if your wanting it for Gaming or for a DVR as well!
