The Game Adapter can be used in several different ways. If you have an existing home wireless network and a cable or DSL Internet connection, the Game Adapter lets your Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation2 or 3, or GameCube attach to the network so you can get into online games without running wires to the game room. Or, use a pair of Game Adapters to form a "cable-less cable" between two game consoles for head-to-head gaming -- in the same room, or all the way across the house. There is also a special "Wireless LAN Party" mode to connect several consoles at once. | | | |

Nightmare to set up but performs beautifully Aug 23, 2010 I was very disappointed when I first received this product as it was near impossible to set up and instructions were scarce.
After finding a guide on the internet I went through the arduous process of setting up the product with my wireless network.
Once getting it working I was surprised at how much range it had as it worked 1 floor above and across the house from my router. Although the set up was a serious pain, it truly is a set and forget product and since originally using it on my Xbox 360 I was simply able to unplug it and move it to a computer that had did not have built in wireless.
This is a very well made product and works incredibly well with dependable range and speed.
It works Jul 23, 2010 It works with both my xBox 360 and Play Station 3. Setting it up was hard, but once you get, it's awesome.
Linksys Wireless-N Dual-Band Gaming Adapter after 2 years... Jun 22, 2010 As stated above, I purchased this product two years ago to replace an extremely faulty Xbox 360 "official" wireless adapter. Setup wasn't the simplest in the world, but it's nothing that a quick search of Google cannot fix. Simply put, after setting this thing up two years ago I have never again had to even take a look at this product. It works every time and it is just as fast and stable as a hard wired, ethernet connection would be. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to set up their older Xbox 360s, DirecTV boxes, Blu-ray players, or any other ethernet-ready device with a wireless network, it is an amazing, reliable device.
The internet backbone of my home entertainment system. Jun 07, 2010 I've had this bridge for 18 months and I think I had to power cycle it once. My N router is a room away and I have several internet devices in my home entertainment system, including an Xbox 360, PS3 and Blu ray player. This bridge and an inexpensive $10 5 port switch bring internet connectivity to all of them and at wireless N speeds. Very happy with this item. Quick and easy setup on the first attempt. Stable speeds and connection. Solid build quality. Had to call clueless, India based tech support once but hung up on them (couldnt understand them anyway, sorry) and figured out the minor problem on my own within 5 mins (had to power off all network devices and restart for setting to take effect, not in manual) and was good to go. Would purchase again!

Great Product considering... Mar 17, 2010 Yes, it is a Linksys, but this is a great product. I would recommend this to anyone looking for wireless connection. I use it with my PS3, PC, & even DirectTV it works great! I have had this product for over 2 years now still kicking strong!!
Cons: It does require someone a little tech savy if you have problems with it but if u have the phone number to linksys it's an easy setup from there. Most people shouldn't have problems because it is easy to setup but for some reason after the first few setups, I started to need customer service reps to help me through, but even that isn't worth a star to me.
