I just got my case on Saturday and my Acer 250 10" has been in it ever since. Fits great with the 6 cell battery.
The pocket has room enough for the power & small mouse. I don't usually carry my external DVD with it anyways. No problem with heat issues, when using Acer in the case, I do turn it off before zipping up the case though.
Great for working from multiple locations as I do.

Great investment ! Oct 22, 2009
I bought mine as a "bundle" on Amazon. I am really pleased with it. My Samsung Netbook has no scratches 10 months after purchase. I have even took it to deer camp so I could watch DVDs on it. I do keep my computer inside the case all the time, even when at home hooked to a monitor. I would highly recommend this case , at least to owners or buyers of Samsung netbooks.

Much better than what comes with the typical netbook...plus there's room for all the cords, even a wireless mouse.

This leatherette case was a little bit bigger than the 10.1 inch Netbook (Asus EEE 1000HE) that it was purchased for. A little sloppy on the corners for workmanship. But much better protection than the stretchable case that came with the Netbook. The front pocket is really only useful for either the power cord or an external DVD-RW drive, not both. But it is easier to carry around, even slides into a briefcase. Zippers are well-made, no problems so far.

Great Netbook Case Aug 12, 2009
I was looking for a case that I could put in a backpack or carry alone. The backpack is for trips when I carry other assets, such as power supplies and an assortment of electronics like flash drives, USB lighting, external mouse, etc.
For short trips I use the case by itself, pack an external DVD drive, headphones and one flash drive in the compartment built into the case. I can't ask for more unless it's extra battery life.
Update on 3-3-2010: After a year's use, I couldn't be more pleased. I can squeeze an external DVD player/recorder, headphones and a number of usb connectors short of the Netbook power supply. It's help up well and allows me to easily use the Netbook on an airplane. Highly recommended for users of Netbooks. Just shop for a netbook with a low profile power supply that can be squeezed in.
