Amazon is a very good place to buy.Good products,price,service and fast shipping. The Acer X203H bd 20-Inch Lcd Monitor exceeded my expectations. I am a retired photographer and use it to edit my photos. It shows clarity,sharper detail and larger color range than my old 19 inch HP monitor.Easy set up and install.
Great Monitor for the PRice Aug 04, 2010
The Acer x203H that I bought a 6 mo ago as a second (primary) monitor for my MacBook is working great - excellent color, contrast, performance in general office work and photos. It has made me an Acer fan. Set up is not totally intuitive, but it was not hard to figure out to tweak, but pretty much was plug and play.
Caution - mac users - make sure any monitor you get is mac compatible. Amazon is pretty good for identifying hardware compatibility, but you have to look for it.

This monitor arrived today, so my review is mainly about how easy it was to set up. It comes with both DVI and VGA cables and I was able to hook it into my Dell Inspiron 1505 Laptop directly, and my MacBook (the very latest model) with a DVI adapter (available for $30 at the Apple store).
Setup was a breeze on both machines - I didn't need to do anything more than plug in the cables.
I'm a web designer and developer and I think the colors and rendering look great.
Other reviewers mentioned the slight downward tilt of the screen - this monitor does not have an adjustable stand, so be aware of that. It's fine if you have it elevated a little bit higher than the laptop. Mine sits on the upper tier of a writing desk so this isn't an issue for me.
Overall, a great monitor for the money.
