The product works, but could use at least one improvement:
There is no clip to keep the USB and SD covers on, I have already lost the one for the USB end.

This memory card reader is handy if you want to interchange different sized SD cards (like 512GB to 2GB, etc.). The plug and play USB port is easy to use. A 2GB will hold about 400-500 high quality photos and about 15-20 minutes of video. All of this depends on your "camera settings". The actual device's bright blue color will keep it visible. My black flash stick is always getting lost. Most computers will accept a SD card directly into a side slot. However, if you don't plan on changing memory cards often, I would simply go with any good quality memory stick - the higher the GB, the better. You can find an 8MG memory stick for about twenty dollars or less. I find the simpler the better for electronics. Always remember to "safely remove" the device by clicking on your desktop icon in the lower right hand corner before unplugging.

the thing works perfectly. my only concern is the same as everyone elses~ the flimsy caps. we have not lost either one yet, but thats not to say it will never happen. If you are concerned with the same thing, then my suggestion would be to get a case. something that holds all of your little gadgets in one handy-dandy little package. voila! definitely a great buy for the money. couldnt have asked for a better deal!

This product only reads SD cards and is not a 4-in-1 as advertised. I bought this to read my mini-SD card and it is useless to me. If you want a decent and low cost SD card reader then it's fine. But if you want something to read a mini-SD (as advertised by the seller and Amazon) this product won't work.
This is not the first time I have had trouble with Amazon mis-representing products and services on their website as of late. As such, I will no longer patronize this venue.

Went with this one because it is one of the most inexpensive ones available. Don't regret it for a bit. Have used it for about a month so far, and haven't run into any problems. Can't go wrong for the price!
